What is an UK Rep?

A UK Rep is a person or company that is designated by a manufacturer to take charge of certain duties related to product compliance in the UK. Depending on specific product legislation, it may include the creation of UK Declarations of Conformity (DCC) for medical devices, or being the first point of contact to the MHRA. A Responsible Person is commonly referred to as an Authorised Representative.
